This is a beautiful Rosary which has been handmade with 6mm Mother of Pearl beads, backed with Japanese Toho seed beads in a gentle buttermilk cream colour having the same beautiful lustre as the Mother of Pearl. The Rosary has been finished with a San Damiano Crucifix, which is traditionally associated with St. Francis of Assisi. There is a prayer on the reverse of the Crucifix in Latin and translates thus:
The prayer is from Numbers 6:24-26,
The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee,
and give thee peace.
