A beautiful Prayer Rope made from olive wood from the ancient olive groves in Bethlehem, featuring 7 x 5mm and 9 x 7mm olive wood beads, accented with haematite coloured Japanese Toho, and finished with an olive wood laser cut St. Francis Cross/Tau Cross, which has been inscribed with the word JERUSALEM, and finished with a handmade black tassel which has been made from Anchor Perle fade proof cotton.
Ancient Prayer Ropes were mostly made from wool, with either 33, 50 or 100 knots, our Prayer Ropes have been made with beads to the same count.

The Pater Noster Psalter
This is where The Lord's Prayer (Pater noster) is recited 150 times to match the amount of Psalms, (also called the Psalter).
This practice was started in Medieval times for those who could not read, it is now, however, used to keep count of the 'Our Father' prayers.
This Prayer Rope measures approximately 23 inches (59cm), and comes boxed and with a prayer card, and a Certificate of Authenticity for the olive wood components.
